"Mawae's Latiaxis"  A very special rare size piece. The current record size remains static at 73.1mm since 1987. The shell is artfully uncoiled much like Thatcheria mirabilis. A portion of the columellar lip absent likewise one of the frilly anterior fronds. Outer lip intact operculum present. Shoulder spines mostly intact though some worn to some degree. A strikingly ornate specimen.
