Common name " Silver mouth Turban"  Quite a widely distributed species with some locality variations. I have found this same species in the Pleistocene fossil unit south of Pt.Quobba and it has not changed one bit. Heavily encased in calcium concretions and takes some time to descale the beauty of this is that the shell surface underneath is protected. The outer lip is naturally corrugate and intact. Operculum present. Turqoise decoration.
