A massive specimen. Complete with the outer skirt. Probably better for an Australian collector due to the excessive weight of 2kg. 400gms. At the hinge its around 35mm thick. The outer surface is in its natural state which is very rough and in places eroded. The largest I have seen. A magnificent show piece. I am not able to put a tech grade on this piece. I have it in the tridacnidae files but the family is actually (Pteriidae)
